Zero Funks are a female-fronted, Dubai-based band consisting of five highly talented musicians from different parts of the world! They blend elements of Funk, Soul, Jazz and Hip-Hop into their own unique sounds. Whether it is performing their own renditions of classic tracks or original material, Zero Funks brings positive energy and great vibes to any event.
DJ Terey has been an active and passionate DJ in the UAE since the early age of 14.
His performances are famous in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in a variety of venues and events including Abu Dhabi Golf Club, Al Raha Beach Hotel, Reem Weekends, Al Dana Weekends, RAGE. He also regularly performs in Mumbai, India.
His favourite music genres include: Pop, House, Retro, and Dance.
DJ Terey believes music has healing powers: “Music breaks barriers to create beautiful and long-lasting memories. An ever-growing passion to create and mingle with various tunes, is keeping me up all night just to find the right blend is an amazing trip. Making the most of life is my motto and I hope to share this happiness with you all, in the days to come.”
In addition to music, he is also a passionate hockey, football and cricket player.
Vandalye is an alternative folk-rock band based in Dubai.
The band met in 2015 at a “Go Play The World” open mic event. They released their first single “Don’t Lie to Me” in February 2016. A five-track debut EP entitled “From the Beginning” was launched in May 2016. Vandalye had the privilege of performing for a number of large international acts.
In November of 2016 they opened the scene for Lionel Richie in Du Arena at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, playing to a crowd of over 25,000 people.
In November of 2017, Vandalye opened the scene for Elton John at the sold out Autism Rocks Arena in Dubai. Early 2018, the band partnered up with Red Bull for a musical collaboration with Dubai artists Shébani and Rayan Bailouni, in which they were all sent to the Red Bull studios in Berlin to write and record two original singles: “How Do You Feel” & “RLY”.
Vandalye recently shared the stage with artists Morcheeba at the Dubai Opera and Snow Patrol at the Medical City Amphitheatre.
Daneel is a multi-talented, innovative and dynamic percussionist known in the Middle East for ranking finalist at Arabs Got Talent, which has a massive exposure in the region. He performed as a percussionist and soloist at the famous Music Hall Theater for 5 years, followed by the Olympics in London; he was also featured as a performing star at “Stars on Board” tour across Europe.
Daneel’s Abu Dhabi show will consist of special music arrangements mixing his original tracks with the most popular songs in the world, all rearranged to create an energetic hype that will get any crowd moving – including grandma on the tambourine at some stage!
